Nordlys Denmark Eclipse Floor Free-standing Biofire
Eclipse Floor is a free-standing bioethanol fireplace from the Danish manufacturer Nordlys Denmark. The fireplace consists of a powder-coated steel sphere and three legs made of oak wood.
Inside the fireplace, you will find a 1.6 liter bioethanol burner that can burn for up to 5-6 hours on a full refill of bioethanol fuel - which gives a consumption of bioethanol in the range of 0.30-0.35 liters of bioethanol per hour. However, it may vary depending on the placement of the fireplace.
As with all other biofireplaces from Nordlys Denmark, the burner is equipped with a ceramic stone that absorbs bioethanol, so that it can not spilled out of the burner after being filled into it.
Since the Eclipse Floor is free-standing and does not require the connection of either electricity or a flue system, it can easily be moved around, so that you can enjoy the flames and heat exactly where you want it. However, the fireplace must never be left outside when not in use. Rain and bad weather will drastically reduce the lifespan of the bioethanol fireplace.
